TAH Craft Beverage Micro-Credential

This micro-credential recognizes and validates the learner’s successful completion of the University of Maine System (UMS) Craft Beverage pathway (Levels 1, 2, and 3 badges). Learners completed training in craft beverage operations and management, and applied their learning in a real-world beverage operation and/or management setting. They have developed essential knowledge and skills necessary to excel in the craft beverage industry. Participants gained a comprehensive understanding of the production process, from sourcing quality ingredients to fermentation and packaging. They developed proficiency in sensory analysis to be able to evaluate and appreciate the nuances of various craft beverages. Learners also acquired knowledge in industry regulations, sustainability practices, and marketing strategies specific to craft beverages. Evidence was verified and assessed by authorized UMS faculty or staff to ensure UMS micro-credential quality standards were met.
