Annual Security Report & Annual Fire Safety Report

The Annual Security Report and Annual Fire Safety Report are intended to provide you with essential information regarding USM’s public safety and police-related programs, services, policies, and statistics about the occurrence of crime on campus. It is provided to meet the requirements of the Jeanne Clery Campus Safety Act. This report has been prepared by Public Safety with assistance and information provided by the USM Student Affairs/Community Standards and the Police Departments from the towns of Gorham, Lewiston, and Portland. Campus Police/Public Safety is responsible for compiling the crime statistics and contacting appropriate law enforcement agencies with jurisdiction over off-campus properties to collect annual statistics. The Office of Community Standards and Mediation is responsible for compiling illegal liquor, drugs, and/or weapons disciplinary referrals.

Each fall, email notification is made to all employees and enrolled students providing the web link for this report.
