NUR 606 - Leadership, Health Policy, and Role This course examines the complexity, functioning, and processes within the healthcare delivery system with a focus on leadership priorities for professional masters-prepared and APRN advancement. A historical lens is used to analyze past, current, and future policy initiatives related to access, equity and advanced nursing roles. Socio-political, economic and ethical issues embedded in health policy decisions are explored. Attention is given to the role of graduate prepared nurses in influencing, creating and implementing policy change and quality improvement.
