SPM 330 - Physiology of Exercise

An investigation of the acute and chronic effects exercise incurs on the body. Muscle physiology, respiration, cardiac function, circulation, energy metabolism and application to training will be emphasized.

Prerequisite(s): EXS or HLS major; grades of C- or higher in CHY 107 or CHY 113, BIO 113 and BIO 114.
Co-requisite(s): SPM 331.
