NUR 418 - Reproductive Health Skills and Simulation Lab This laboratory and simulation course builds on the theory, scientific principles and psychomotor skills in the care of women and children. Introduced in prerequisite courses, the focus is on developing communication, psychomotor skills, and critical reasoning through kinesthetic learning in simulated clinical scenarios for childbearing families. Demonstrations, return demonstrations, role playing, communication, decision making, clinical reasoning, nursing process and debriefing will serve as the framework for knowledge and skill development.
