BPH 498 - Professional Development for Public Health Careers


Public health practices in professionalism, career development, networking, technical communication, and community engagement. Students will: 1. interact with public health professionals (guest speakers); 2. participate in service learning for a community partner; 3. produce a presentation summarizing a public health scholarship activity; and 4. develop a writing portfolio of their experiences. To count towards the Bachelor of Science in Public Health, courses must be taken Graded (not P/F).

Prerequisite(s): Junior or Senior standing.
