NUR 638 - Academic Nursing Education Practicum

This is the culminating nursing education course designed to prepare the professional nurse for teaching roles. In this course the concept of “praxis” is fully realized. With guidance from the faculty, students will select an educational experience to develop, implement, and evaluate. Experiences may include, however are not limited to, in-service programs, classroom and clinical teaching, and community education programs.

Prerequisite(s): NUR 603, NUR 604, NUR 611, NUR 612, NUR 635, NUR 636, NUR 637.
