AED 321 - Methods of Teaching Visual and Performing Arts

History and philosophy of visual and performing arts education, theories of child art, beliefs about arts education through readings, writings, discussion, observation. All AED students (k-12 certification and community arts) are required to successfully complete a minimum of 2 semesters of art lab prior to their capstone.

Prerequisite(s): AED 221, AED 222, students in art, theatre or dance education certificate programs
