OTH 201 - Joy in Doing: Foundations of OT Practice


This course introduces the historical, philosophical, and scientific foundations for the occupational therapy profession. Students will explore concepts of occupation and activity and apply activity analysis and occupation-based models of practice to enhance joy and meaning in everyday life.

Prerequisite(s): OTA major.
