OTH 400 - Global Perspectives on Occupation


This course will challenge students to understand occupation and occupational therapy practice from non-Western perspectives by analyzing the history and dominant model of Western occupational therapy practice and comparing it with diverse, global perspectives. Students will have opportunities to learn with and from students and practitioners from around the globe and to explore contextual factors influencing occupational therapy practice worldwide.

Prerequisite(s): OTH 330  and OTH 335 .
