NUR 329 - Mental Health Skills and Simulation Lab This laboratory course builds on the application of theoretical knowledge, evidence-based principles, and psychomotor skills specific to mental health nursing. Its focus is to develop advanced level therapeutic communication and psychomotor skills needed to care for individuals experiencing mental health challenges. The lab environment fosters active learning through role-playing, demonstrations, and critical thinking exercises. Students are encouraged to engage independently and collaboratively, fostering self-directed learning and professional growth in a controlled, safe setting.
