ART 130 - Clay for Everyone Clay for Everyone is an introduction to ceramics providing students with the basic skills to create ceramic work. Students are guided through the fundamentals of forming clay and learn to make sculptural and functional forms, utilizing both hand building and wheel-throwing methods. Students are also introduced to techniques for three-dimensional surface development, glazing, and the clay firing process. The course also covers the basic history of clay in various cultures and how the artform has evolved over time.
