BIO 431 - Principles of Immunology


This course is an introduction to the fundamentals of immunology, especially as they relate to human diseases. Topics include basic elements of immune systems, principles of innate and acquired immunity, the cellular and molecular basis of B cell and T cell development and diversity, and clinical aspects of immunology. 

Prerequisite(s): Grades of C- or higher in CHY 115 ; and either BIO 107  with BIO 108  or BIO 113  or permission of instructor.
