MUS 310 - Organ Improvisation 1

This course will cover the basics of improvisation at the organ. The goal is to equip the student with the skills needed in church situations. Hymns, chorales, and plainsong melodies will form the basis for learning to improvise preludes, postludes, and interludes in a variety of styles. This course will be scheduled as an additional applied music time with an organ specialist.
