MUE 411 - Teaching Music Composition PK-12

Students will develop personal composition skills as they learn to engage young musicians in the study of music composition. Students will study composition pedagogy including individual and group techniques. Students will create PK-12 curriculum and assessment materials and learn how to organize and administer a school-based music composition program.

Prerequisite(s): MUE 350 ProSeminar VI.
Co-requisite(s): MUE 410, MUS 406.
