For transfer students who want Pk-12 Certification in Visual Arts to teach art in Maine, and who already have an undergraduate degree, we offer a certification pathway in Art Education. For those with a degree in studio art, this means taking a 25-credit education course sequence to fulfill state certification requirements. The certification pathway can be completed in as few as four semesters, this includes student teaching. Many of the education classes are offered online or evening in person.
