Innovation and Commercialization Certificate

This six course, 18-credit hour certificate in innovation and commercialization assists entrepreneurs, business owners, marketing professionals, engineers, and other interested in develop and launching successful products learn the basic frameworks for product development and commercialization. The certificate includes fundamental coursework in marketing entrepreneurial thinking, market opportunity analysis, new venture creation, and design thinking.

Admissions Requirements


The certificate is open to individuals 1) who possess an undergraduate degree with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.33,  2) are a non-matriculated student who has completed 54-credit hours and a miniumum cumulative GPA of 2.33,  3) a master’s level (or above) degree, or 4) individuals with 10+ years of work experience in a professional field at the management level.
