Tourism and Hospitality, Integrative Professional Studies, B.A. (Degree Completion)


This track  allows adults with more job experience and some college credits to complete the degree program quicker. The adult degree completion track was designed to meet the needs of transfer and returning students* who have a variety of academic backgrounds, employment experience, and career aspirations. Students in the program complete their degrees through a combination of TAH courses, transfer credits, and prior learning assessment.

*Returning USM students must not have been enrolled for at least two years in order to be eligible for this degree completion program option.

Program Requirements:


Requirements for students pursuing this concentration within the major are:

  • At least 75 credits transferred into the program*
  • A minimum GPA in the major of 2.0
  • A grade of C- or better in all major courses
  • Completion of at least 120 credits
  • Satisfaction of the 30 credit hours residency requirement for USM

 

  • Minimum number of credits (exclusive of the University’s Core Curriculum) required for the Tourism and Hospitality, Integrative Professional Studies major: 33. 

  • Minimum grade requirement for major courses listed below: C- or better.

  • Minimum GPA requirement for major courses listed below: 2.0.

 

All students must meet with their advisors before registering for courses each semester.
