Teaching and Learning (ETEP) Accelerated Graduate Pathway (MSEd)

The Accelerated ETEP (Extended Teacher Education Program) Pathway allows USM undergraduate students with an interest in teacher certification to have courses taken in their undergraduate sequence apply toward the graduate degree in Teaching and Learning (ETEP). This allows for exposure to education related courses over multiple years and a reduced course load during the intensive internship year.

Requirements at the undergraduate level:

Declare the Accelerated pathway prior to enrolling in any 500-level courses.
Maintain a cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Submit a Graduate Admission Application to the Master of Science in Education in Teaching and Learning (ETEP) after completion of ~75 credits. For full graduate admission instructions, visit Admission Information: MSEd in Teaching.
