Basic Course
ROTC Basic Course is a series of elective courses that teach basic military skills and fundamentals of Army leadership and the Army in general. Students can take courses within the Army ROTC Basic Course without a military commitment. Basic Courses are normally taken during the first two years of college as elective courses. The Basic Course requirement consists of one lecture course and one lab each semester. Advanced Course
ROTC Advanced Course is a series of elective courses that help students become proficient at basic small-unit tactics and gain experience in team organization, planning, and decision-making. Students entering the Advanced Course commit to serving as an Officer in the U.S. Army after graduation. Other ROTC Program Courses
In addition to the Basic and Advanced Courses, Army ROTC offers a History of the Army course, which is open to all students. The Officer Internship offers current ROTC cadets an opportunity to learn through fieldwork in a military-type unit. |
