Post-Baccalaureate Pre-Medical Studies Certificate

This certificate program is designed for students who have already graduated from college with a baccalaureate degree and who seek to fulfill the science course requirements for admission to schools of medicine or dentistry, or to physician assistant programs.

Program Requirements
In addition to a baccalaureate degree, all of the following courses or equivalent courses transferred from another institution are required. At least 6 credits must be earned from the University of Southern Maine. A grade of C- or higher is required for all courses listed below. Biology (19 credit hours)
Chemistry (19 credit hours)
Physics (10 credit hours)
Mathematics (4 credit hours)
