DMA 675 - E-Commerce & Online Retailing


The objective of this course is to expose students to the dimensions of e-commerce from both the consumers and the retailers’ sides. The Internet has impacted not only the way consumers shop but also the way retailers present products and services to them (consumers) in an online setting. Though an online platform is a widely used shopping medium, many retailers introduce new creative techniques to online shopping in order to win competitive advantage. In this course, students explore specifically, e-commerce platforms, their content and purpose for the promotion of products and services.
