ART 342 - Summer Book Arts and Print


Summer Book Arts and Print is a two-week intensive course that introduces students to foundational skills of creating artist’s books. Students learn from USM faculty and visiting artists various techniques, design, history, and aesthetics specific to book arts. Each student creates an artist’s book for a September exhibition on campus.

Prerequisite(s): ART 241  and successful completion of the Foundation Portfolio review, or permission of department.
Co-requisite(s):
Credits: 3

May be completed 3 times for a total of 9 credits.
