BIO 505 - Animal Behavior This course examines the principles underlying animal behavior, focusing on how vertebrate and invertebrate animals interact with their environments and each other. Topics include communication, mating systems, foraging strategies, social behavior, and the evolutionary and ecological forces that shape these patterns. Emphasis is placed on behavior in natural contexts, with insights drawn from current research.
Prerequisite(s): Grades of C- or higher in CHY 115 and either BIO 203 or BIO 217, or permission of instructor. Co-requisite(s): Credits: 3
