OTH 514 - Fundamentals of Human Anatomy and Movement


This course covers the basic sciences needed to understand normal human movement. The course begins with a review of human biology and basic biomechanics utilizing a systems approach with a strong emphasis on the functional anatomy of the musculoskeletal and nervous system. Students will integrate their learning to gain an understanding of how the functional anatomy of  body systems relates to the biomechanics, kinematics, and kinetics of human motion, leading to occupational performance. Typical Modality: In-person.

Prerequisite(s): Graduate level standing or Accelerated Graduate Pathway student.
Co-requisite(s): OTH 515
