SPY 608 - Professional Ethics in Behavior Analysis

This course orients students to the ethical and professional responsibilities of behavior analysts. This course focuses on the ethical principles and standards established by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) and emphasizes a systematic ethical decision-making process to facilitate application of the ethics code in school and clinical settings. Topics include responsibilities related to professional competency, culturally responsive service, informed consent, confidentiality, clinical assessment and intervention, supervision, and research.
