This Certificate of Graduate of Study (CGS) in Teaching and Learning is designed to create a pathway for non-degree seeking students to take the teacher certification courses needed for emergency or conditional certification. Candidates may transfer the courses into a master’s level program. The 12-credit CGS consists of four courses. Three of the courses are required for both K-6 and 6-12 certification with the one additional methods course chosen for either K-6 or 6-12 certification. Up to two courses may be transferred in.
