ENG 337 - Studies in Rhetoric

Students will be introduced to the many ways of thinking about rhetoric historically and the value of rhetorical criticism in analyzing texts, discourse, and language. Topics will vary but may survey theories of rhetoric from Plato and Aristotle to contemporary theoretical approaches to rhetoric, including theories of digital rhetoric and multimodality.
