NUR 421 - Reproductive and Sexual Health Nursing

This course focuses on theory and research in reproductive and sexual health care. While emphasis is placed on holistic nursing care of diverse healthy families from preconception through the childbearing process, high risk conditions, including end of life care for neonates, and the interventions necessary for successful adaptation are also discussed. Male and female reproductive health issues and nursing care across the lifespan will be presented. Concurrent with NUR 422.

Prerequisite(s): NUR 313, NUR 323, NUR 325, and NUR 332.
